Philosophy of Surfing in Morocco
At our surf camp, we believe every surfer’s journey is unique. That’s why our instructors tailor each lesson to your level and goals, which we’ll figure out together when you arrive. Whether you’re just starting out or already catching waves, surfing in Morocco is always an adventure. Since the ocean constantly surprises us, every surf session turns into a new story.
Classes
Every day, we pick the best surf spot based on the weather and wave conditions. We’ll check the currents and reefs together, then warm up with some stretches and practice on the shore before hitting the water. Surfing in Morocco means adapting to nature and going with the flow – and we’ll be there every step of the way.

Levels
Surfing is personal but also a social experience. Knowing your level helps us help you improve. We welcome everyone, from kids to adults, beginners to pros.
Here’s a quick look at the levels we teach:
Beginner
New to surfing or just tried a few times? We’ll teach you the basics — safety, paddling, popping up, and catching small white waves.

Intermediate
If you’re already paddling through breaks and catching green waves, we’ll work on wave reading, positioning, takeoff angles, and choosing the right board.

Advanced
Experienced surfers get guided tours of the spots, detailed briefings on reefs and currents, plus coaching to sharpen your skills and try new maneuvers.

Surf Spots
This stretch of Morocco’s Atlantic coast around Taghazout is home to some of the best and most diverse surf spots in the country. Our local coaches know the area inside out and will choose the best places to surf for you every day, based on the forecast and your level.
From the terrace of our riad in Aourir, you can already see great waves — just across the street there’s a beach break and a mellow point break. A short walk takes you to the famous Banana Point, and in just 15 minutes by car, you’ll reach Anchor Point — Taghazout’s iconic wave and a regular stop on the World Surf League tour.
